When we simply needed a cheap overnight blue mountain cottage to go hiking on the weekend, the YHA was frequently our first choice in accommodations.

Although it didn’t have the same vistas as Ironstone Views in Katoomba, it had a beautiful rental cottage-like vibe. For anyone looking for a cozy Blue Mountains cottage to stay in, highly suggest it.
Additionally, it is a short distance from some local hikes, such as the National Pass. This is a good choice if there are at least four of you staying, similar to Ironstone.
